Gill, where do we even begin? I can’t believe you’re gone, it’s surreal, I am so grateful that I had the absolute pleasure of knowing you for most of my life! You’re always one to light up a room with that infectious smile and laugh, you were a free spirit and no one would bring you down. You will be missed more than you could ever realise, you and my mum were two peas in a pod, the same person you bounced off each other and we’re always getting up to mischief. I’m going to miss you so much, it’s criminal that we didn’t realise how much time had passed since we last spoke, even if it was you asking me to nip the shop for a bottle of peptobismal and a bag of ice for your vodka and coke haha! I hope you’re having a blast up there, having a well loved reunion with all those who we’ve lost along the way. Jolene, vicki, Lee and all you’re beautiful granbabies are a credit to you, you did amazing and it shows with how much they’re going to miss you. My only regret is that you and mum didn’t get enough time together but surprise surprise you are both very stubborn haha! She’s going to miss you everyday!
